Hidden

Eyes wide open
And yet she cannot see
With words inside her head
She never dares to speak
Even in her dreams
She tries to run away
But no matter where she goes
It brings her to today

heart beating fast
yet her legs move slow
Always in a hurry
But never wants to go
Her cuts bleed
Her wounds heel
Never shedding a tear
Or showing how she feels

She wants to hold him close
But always lets him go
Keeping inside the secret
That he really should know
