Hidden

This feeling of darkness
encircled by bright light
I hold the swaying image
I wait for it to unfold.

My gaze is exhausted
Does not hold a thing anymore
I am blinded
my will numbed.

In my effort to grasp it
I am but grasped by it
For I cannot say
Love is in my heart
But rather I am in the heart of love.

It shakes me to my core
It breaks me to pieces
when am not me anymore
he gathers me unto himself

I cling to it.

I find that when I can't really put a label on a poem...I just call it "verse" that encompasses a lot. This one is very brave and heart felt. good luck Julie
