The clocktower that we chose to climb

Had ten minutes before it would chime

First up was the winner

The loser bought dinner

The outcome was a race against time

It was I that came last in the climb -Unfortunately I hadn’t a dime - So no dinner was had - And I felt truly bad - Then went panning for gold in a mine……. Beryl

Nice! Matching me limerick for limerick. I hope you come upon some nuggets, even if they're only chicken nuggets. Bon appetit Beryl.
