Notes About The Poem

Hibiscus Hymns

Hear these hibiscus hymns
Colorful souls fragrant breeze
Like song in nose in ears swim
Delightful gold melodies

Lovely ballet of blue butterflies
Wings that flutter around flowers
The beauty against summer skies
Daydreaming in the garden for hours

Hearts that seek a healthy retreat
Find a bench to sit and reflect
Listen to red birds happily tweet
As squirrels scamper nature respects

Crab grass seems to add a note
As bare feet walk so leisurely
Like green symphony with tan toes
Tall trees with leaves that sing

Hibiscus hymns are inside all
Who open heart and pray
Breaking down imagined wall
Seeing nature and man embraced

My dear sweet Karen, you absolutely thawed my heart and made my soul bloom with this absolutely luscious and soulful poem! The way you've reflected the purity of those hibiscus hymns and how they are found within all! The imagery is divine here with singing leaves ~ golden melodies and those butterflies ahhh, my heart is full.. as if I'm waltzing in a fairyland 🥹🥹😻😻.. thank you so very much for feeling inspired by one of my prompts and knitting this eloquent poem! I'm very grateful for your kindness and also for ur support to my first contest here ~ 🧜‍♀️🌹✨

Thanks Sotto. I didn’t enter this one. The one I did enter was disqualified as I didn’t follow rules. So I rewrote it as a rhyme with the required phrase.
