Hibernation Is Done

The moonlight shimmered off
The new fallen snow,
Across the field walked
Two baby deer and their mother doe.

The beauty of the sight
Overwhelmed me with awe,
And, oh! More majestic!
You would not believe what I just saw!

A whole mess of animals
Running to have fun,
To gather in the center,
I guess hibernation is done!

Not all animals hibernate during the winter, but this is a decent poem with good descriptiveness and rhyming.

Welcome to PoetrySoup Zelda. I know this is a late welcome but, I have some very pressing matters going on at the present time. I hope to be back and at full speed in the next couple of weeks. Until then please keep writing and sharing your poetry. Love, Carol
