Hiatus of a Vacation
Of those that I knew
Was certain it would be you
Who I loved so true.
What a way to be
Close together you and me
And we both agree.
When we took a trip
Which was on a sailing ship
Hearts a beat did skip.
Day turned out real great
Go again can hardly wait;
You will be my mate.
When we reached the end
Which is where we did intend
Cards to friends will send.
Happy we had been;
Gladly will do it again;
Tanned was sun-soaked skin.
