Hey, Love You Too
Torpidity encompasses him
as he walks out the door.
He has heard the excuses
a million times before.
The strength in his heart
is loosing the fight.
He doesn't know if
he can take another night.
She tells him she'll stop.
Goes for another drop.
The elixir that makes her cry.
She pours another,
..doesn't know why.
Then she screams and cries.
Tells many more lies.
She's loosing her will,
as she looks for a pill.
She finds it on the floor.
As he walked back in the door.
He cannot deal,
..with all the deception.
He sits down at the table,
to ask her a question.
He says, "I have loved you forever and a day,
I'm not really sure what I wan't to say,
Why do you drink and swallow those pills?
If you do it again, I will head for the hills.
The time has come for this to stop.
Don't pick up that drink, not even a drop.
I am taking you to a recovery place.
In there you will have to face..
..the Demons that haunt you, every single one.
It's going to be scary and not very fun.
I love you so much and I cannot explain,.
..and don't understand..why your in so much pain.
All can say is that I hope that you,
Find the strength, to LOVE YOU, TOO!.
