Hey Homes
I’ve built a house of mud and stick
I could see it did the trick
And built a home of stick and straw
You can’t believe what I just saw
Put up a home of straw and concrete
Did it all it was complete
Erected house of concrete and brick
It is a home that some would pick
One place I built of brick and stone
Worked all my fingers to the bone
I have built a place of stone and wood
It all went together like it should
Stood up a tent of wood and canvass
This place to find with good old compass
Put up a teepee of canvass and poles
I’ve stayed many places one of my goals
I have stayed in a cave
And stayed in a hut
Some call me brave
I just go with my gut
Your home is your castle
No matter how small
Would be so much hassle
With no home at all
Losing your home
Could be losing your life
Keeping your home
Would lessen your strife
By all my friends
At my home I am sound
Keep up with the trends
I will see you around
