Hey Hey That's My Balloon

I'm making an observation
Bout the state of the world today
This is what I've come up with
In my own inimitable way

Maybe it's cuz I'm an old guy
It seems there's much more strife
There doesn't seem, like years ago
As much laughter in everyone's life

I know there'll always be conflict
Somewhere around the world
This nation or that one gets pushy
Controversy begins to swirl

Then one country threatens the other
Military action follows soon
We're like a bunch of nasty children
Yelling, “Hey that's my balloon!”

Seem like there isn't a cure for this
But there's always hope I guess
That mankind will see the utter futility
And realize it don't make no sense!

It may seem like a strange metaphor, but it really is like that. We seem to play tug-a-war over things that mean "diddly squat". While all the important topics get ignored... Carol Eastman May 11, 2013 at 8:27 AM We can solve that problem... who ever doesn't play nice... gets Dragon... until they do. You'd be amazed, after a coule of days... they'd behave. And be begging us to take him back...LOL... Works every time in my neighborhood... Especially effective when his Chameleon Dogasaurus pet Lolly takes a nap and Dragon stomps around every where destroying every thing til he finds her...
