hi-jack my haiku?
Hah! You jacked the wrong ku
You stole a senryu

I hide my haikus
safe and sound beneath silly
senryus such as this

Hark and heed this Hank!
Stealing somebody’s senryu
is scandalous but

heisting a haiku?
holding a haiku hostage?
That's horrible Hank

Tim, Congratulations on your nice win. Thank you for all the time you took supporting and entering my contest this past year 2015:-) I'm taking, this time, to explain how I really enjoyed every entry. I truly wanted to place every poem, but two with higher placements. However, it is a contest and with all the bickering going on about the way we judge our contest. I did not place everyone the way I wanted to in this contest. I do APOLOGIZE. Please don't be upset if you are sharing a placement or did not make the top 10. Not need to apologize dear lady! Just placing in one of your contests is an honor and you always seem to find a place for me and with that I am happy! All this bickering and other stuff going on is just plain silly in my opinion... I mean there are children starving to death and people being murdered everyday. Thanks again and Happy New Year!!!

Fantastic alliteration here. Love the image of you hiding your haikus. This is hilarious. I have an image of a masked bandit hoisting your poem on the tip of his sword, counting syllables and cursing to himself.
