Hesitation

Tonight, my darling, I said tonight I found you
I found you, like always, passed out on the floor
Just behind you, I, just behind you I saw
Something else that, that, that caught my eye
You on the floor, dead in your sleep
After a long night, I said, after a long night
A night filled with drunkeness, cocaine, and with music
A night filled with watching the needle; seeing you use it
I found you, my baby, I found you on the floor
Just walked over you to, to, to, just get through the back door
My, my head its still spinning and I, I know what for
Walking with bruises, with scars; body's sore
Inside I'll creep back, creep down 'cause I'm yours
