Hesitate

Another fresh start how many chances
do I get. Time after time I slip up and
fall, seemingly back to a crawl.

Just never getting it right, wondering
how many moments of forgiveness
have been set aside.

You're in my sights yet so are the stars.
I pray that you come close and heal my
hidden scars.

I want to feel your hand upon my skin,
to feel you radiate within. I hesitate and
this is when I need to cease resisting.

I surly know when I let go you will catch
me, because your love for me is unconditional
and forever persistent.
