The Melody Sings Poet Free verse

He's the One

A cold, hard heart
broken many times
used and abused
battered and broken

Her stolen innocence
greedy prying hands
taking it away
what a rotten liar!

"Just the wrong guy" 
she told herself
just the wrong guy
will love find her?

She deserves more
someone who cares
someone who loves
A caring soul!

A loving guy she meets
calm, sweet, caring
no greed, no selfishness
"He's the one! Yes, He's the one!

Now love has finally found her!
