He's My Heroine
He's My Heroine
he doesn't let the sun shine in
he sits alone in his room with Zeplin
he closes the door to his heart, yeah
and doesn't let me in
addicted to the feelings I get when I'm alone with him
desperation when I cannot have him
feening for the drug that is him, yeah
I'm having withdrawals without him
escaping the presence, forgetting the past
devotion to the high I know can never last
he is my heroine, heroine
yeah, he is my heroine
feeling the tourniquet of love
squeezing the life right outta me
turning the page on another memory, yeah
someone please take me outta this misery
wasting away until tomorrow
'till nothing's left but pain and sorrow
when he becomes my personal Jesus, yeah
killing my feelings until there's nothing left
escaping the presence, forgetting the past
devotion to the high I know can never last
he is my heroine, heroine
yeah, he is my heroine
allowing him to destroy me
I need a treatment for this high
he doesn't answer my messages, yeah
and my heart begins to die
love is the most dangerous drug
the chemical imbalance unto death
it shatters the heart, yeah
and leaves an ugly hole in your chest
