He's Just Dead

He’s not breathing He just smells He is dead As far we can tell. It’s a shame No one is to blame. He is dead Will never be the same. It’s not his fault He couldn’t handle change. He’s just dead Couldn’t rearrange. Don’t blame him He didn’t have the drive. He’s just dead Didn’t know how to survive. Don’t shed a tear It is no one’s fault. He’s just dead. There was no assault. Bury him now Just like all the others. He is dead Like so many brothers. We’re all headed To a very scary place. He is dead. He beat us in the race. Celebrate Those of us who knew him. He is dead. And all the lights are dim.

Reminded me of Gene Wilder lecturing at the beginning of "Young Frankenstein", when he said "...dead is dead"
