Notes About The Poem

Just one of those things, when you open up your freezer or ice-box and find a piece of month old chocolate. It always appears to be frost bit and somewhat discolored. But when you have a taste for sweets, it will do the trick everytime. This piece that I fould and devoured, was a Hershey's minature Dark Chocolate. My favorite kind of chocolate.

Hershey Bar

Kept for preservation, iced and freezer burned inside and outside. 
Faded and frosted in a foiled wrapper, unfold the sweet love bite. 
Temptation defeats, a sweet-tooth, I concur, I ate the chocolate.

Charles, you should see all the chocolate I have at my house. You would go nuts for it. I shop at Smith's and when they put stuff on sale, such as organic dark chocolate bars for only 50 cents or something, I buy bunches of them!! (now just to eat them all up within two years before they go stale!!) I enjoyed your poem. Congrats for the win

I've had chocolate that's been in the fridge for a while and it goes a funny colour, but you're right it doesn't put you off lol. Congratulations. Tom

Thank you Tom, it doesn't last very long in my house. Between my girlfriend and I, my six kids, and three grandchildren. I need to hide a piece in he freezer.(lol) Now all I have to do is remember I put it there! Thanks for the congrats my friend...Charlie
