Heroes
We eat bullet,
But you eat niceties,
Bushes, shrubs and sand are our companion,
Our leg kiss the ground in the hot sun,
Like a green snake lost in greenery,
We remain docile to the sumptuous meal of gunfire,
We are the heroes!
Yes we are.
We are the heroes,
For our eyes scream Justice,
For our hands demand serenity,
Till death do us apart,
This we pledge,
Doleful tears stream down our faces in endless trickles,
For the lifeless body,
Whose body has tasted the sour and soul rending meal,
Where do we turn to? Where?
For this is our smoky abode,
Where bullet rips flesh in a flash
For this is our pledge,
For the table to be held still,
By our furious gun,
By our yelling hearts,
By our showering sunny body,
For this is our pledge.
