Hero
My ex-ray eyes
for you helped me see what I couldn't,
my superhero strength
for you give me reason to get up,
my ability to fly
for you showed me how to take flight,
my want to fight evil doings,
for knowing you... there is hope,
the superhero suit I wear
for you give me reason to stand tall,
the symbol on my chest
for it was you to bring forth my heart,
a hero I thought I could never be
for you brought out the best in me.
