Hereafter

That plastic reclining chair ....sits empty in a corner Stripes of blue, white and red lines running across metal frame ....it remains cold and unused now Not even an echo could bring back the warmth ....of a memorable smile or laughter The familiar sound of creaks and squeaks when it reclined ....now a colorful display in the empty room Along with all other memorable belongings ....they all lay silent and untouched Awaiting its owner that will never return Perhaps one day in heaven or the next life .... a rendezvous with destiny
