Here the Heart Is
inside you see
there's a newer reality
a twilight sun that tainted my inner vision
with words that claim
Deep inside we are all the same
many will rise up with the tide
others will run away & hide
yet where the heart is
the truest message to let in
we get abused when we leave behind
the unconditional nor that of sublime
a call from heaven will soon discover
is it any wonder a call from up yonder
many become perplexed with things that steal
others calling this no big deal
yet you can't stop the vast spinning wheel
Where the heart is
its all a mystery
we must look back at our history
in a very quaint memory
