Here now this morn

the moment we choose to seek
we cause an energy leak
and so clear sight is denied
for we have to ourselves lied

waking, dreaming and deep sleep
in each exists a bliss beep
which dissolves both time and space
to allow influx of grace

endless are layers of mind
being veils that make us blind
so all dreams must be destroyed
to reclaim Self unalloyed

let’s take waking as dreaming
and in it silence beaming
we step behind silence too
wherefrom life pulse does renew

by softening attention
as love and light’s extension
we be, so become the flame
and thus fulfil our life’s aim

This is a beautifully contemplative Jueju-inspired meditation, moving with calm assurance through waking, dream, and deep sleep toward the unalloyed Self. The compact quatrain-like flow, paired rhymes, and recurring light imagery give the spiritual ideas a gentle, prayerful music—especially the lovely closing image of becoming “the flame.”

This wonderful poem beautifully explores the journey of self-discovery and enlightenment. The imagery of waking, dreaming, and deep sleep woven with themes of grace and clarity is very compelling. I loved how it encourages introspection and the pursuit of inner peace.

But how to make a heart stop seeking? Doesn't the heart always seek. You can't kill it.

Ego seeks, since it feels incomplete. Heart does not have to be stifled, it has to be transformed. What we seek is ephemeral, whereas bliss divine within is eternal. Once imbibed, seeking ends.
