Here now this morn

crown steps aside making way for the soul
the knock on our head is distinct and clear
whence touched by magnetism that makes us whole
this chakra pulsates as God’s touch so dear

embodiment of the Monad in form
birthed in the void graced in the physical
is the vivid shift with which we conform
no less than a miracle mystical

there being nothing outside consciousness
all that is polarised is in space-time
seeming separate yet one with oneness
recognised when we meld with bliss beat’s chime

frolicking carefree in drunken delight ~
we surf the bardo in ambedo light

A richly mystical sonnet whose three quatrains move from crown-chakra awakening into embodiment and nondual consciousness, before resolving in a buoyant, visionary couplet. The elevated spiritual vocabulary is wonderfully balanced by the playful momentum of “frolicking carefree,” and the final image of surfing the bardo leaves the poem shimmering with ecstatic freedom.
