Here now this morn

the adam’s apple glows as heart looks on
presence caged in form but seeks to dissolve
that melding with the void we may evolve
poised in peace, in the timeless now reborn
but must this burning yearning too be shorn
cessation the jigsaw mind cannot solve
so we just watch chakras in us revolve
childlike heart awaiting onset of dawn

the words we pen will not be read again
yet remaining held in the womb of space
marking the moment when it chose to wink
that we recognise that heart has no stain
and is thus worthy to receive God’s grace
enabling soul’s ascent in a mere blink

Hello Seeker, a beautiful, deeply reflective piece on presence and spiritual stillness. There’s such a compelling tension in the opening stanzas between the physical reality of being embodied the throat, the revolving chakras and the spirit’s desire to dissolve into the timeless now. Closing on that sudden, effortless transformation of the soul’s ascent leaves a lasting sense of stillness and grace. US, such a meditative and luminous piece of writing. Blessings, Daniel
