Here now this morn

To prevent discord, the truth was withheld,
that there be no buildup of angst and fear,
so the secret was in our being shelled,
to protect near and dear ones we held dear,
knowing in time dark clouds will disappear.
Life’s not black and white; there are shades of grey,
yet all is well if love be our mainstay.
