Kudzai Mhangwa Poet Free verse

Here Now In Heaven

And behold…..
   The Sky’s lights shine only for you,
I have come down
   To swoop you up into the heavens
This pitcher of wine waits for you
   I have waited to pour into your cup. 

Now see…..
   I spin for you a silk garment,
Heaven has you now
   Where honey and nectar are staple
This new life with an unending horizon
  Unending like the wild galaxies.
