Here In the Country

Here in the country the morning always sings,
with beautiful sounds to hear of Earths greatest things.
Reminiscing the feel of a cool small breeze,
ever touching one’s cheek with the slightest of ease.
How gracious is the sunrise starting a new day,
beholding the colors of a rainbow as it removes the haze.
Here in the country, the nights are crisp with delight,
as the moon and stars rise, taking their flight.
Where it feels as if time has stopped with no boundaries shown,
with one of life’s greatest gifts, here in the country... here where my heart grows.
