Here I Go Again Chapter Four
I've had cinnamon and raisin bagels,
I've had my cup of tea,
As today is the day, AGAIN,
That's it for me.
AGAIN, I have to starve myself,
AGAIN, I have to get the tram,
AGAIN, I have to get all psyched up,
What a bloody sham.
While writing this poem,
Everything has changed,
I've had a phone call,
AGAIN, my operation's been re-arranged.
Not to worry though,
It's not all that bad,
It's been brought forward,
That makes me glad.
I'm going in at two o'clock,
My surgery is at three,
Please send me your good luck wishes,
Here's hoping for a painless knee.
