Here I am Send me Isaiah 6:8 part ten NIV

All quotations and/or verse are all from the NIV The LORD, was asking the prophet Isaiah whom to send and who, would go for us. And Isaiah replied,"Here I am. Send me!" Abraham tested Genesis 22:9-19 Conclusion Issac and took the knife to slay his son. But the angel of the LORD called out to him from heaven,"Abraham, Abraham!" "Here I am,"he replied. "Do not lay a hand on the boy." he said,"or do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son." Abraham looked up and saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said. "On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided." The angel of the LORD called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said," I swear by myself, declares the LORD, that because you have done this and have not withheld, your son, your only son. I will surely bless you and make your descend ants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants shall take possession of the cities of your enemies, and through your offspring all nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me." Then Abraham returned to his servants, and they set off together for Beersheba. (And stayed) Samuel anoints David as king 1 Samuel 7-13 end But the LORD said to Samuel,"Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have already rejected him. The LORD does not look at things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." Then Jessie called Abinadab and had him pass in front of Samuel. But Samuel said, "The LORD has not chosen this one either." Jessie then had Shammah pass by, but Samuel said,"Nor has the LORD chosen this one." Jessie had seven of his sons pass before Samuel, but Samuel said to him,"The LORD has not chosen these. So, he asked Jessie,"Are these all the sons you have?" "There is still the youngest,"Jessie answered,"But he is tending the sheep. Samuel said,"Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives." So he sent and had him brought in. He was ruddy, with a fine appearance, and handsome features. Then the LORD said,"Rise and anoint him; he is the one." So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that on the Spirit of the LORD came upon David in power. Samuel then went to Ramah. RLD 7/6/24
