Isaiah 6:8 He said,"Go and tell this people: Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.' Ruth 1:15 But Ruth replied,"Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go, I will go, and where you stay, I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the LORD deal with me, be it ever so severely, if anything but death separates you and me." Ruth 1:16-17 Joshua's Farewell address NIV "Now fear the LORD and serve him with all of your faithfulness. Throw away the gods your forefathers worshiped beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. But if serving the LORD seems to be undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you shall serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." Joshua 24:14-15 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, walked with God When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah. And after he had become the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 365 years and he had other sons and daughters. Altogether, Enoch; then he was no more, because God took him away. Genesis 5:21-24. This is the account of Noah. (Part one) NIV Noah, was a righteous man, blameless among all of the people of his time and he walked with God. Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth. Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight and was full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all of the people on earth had become corrupted in their ways. So God said to Noah,"I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. So make yourself an ark of cypress wood: make rooms in it and cover it with pitch inside and out..." Genesis 6:9-14 Grace and Hope Roxanne Lea Dubarry Roxy Lea 1954/October Country June 30, 2024
