Here I Am

Here I am sitting before you...
You act like you care
You act like you know me
You act like I can trust you
BUT all that, I know 
You just LIED

Here I am standing next to you...
You pretend to “love me”
You pretend to “have me”
You pretend to “be near me”
BUT I know

I come to you wanting...
Someone to lean on
Someone to believe to be true
Someone to be with
BUT you act like a jerk

Now there you are...
Wanting me to care
Wanting me to be near you
Wanting to lean on me
BUT I act like a...

ANGEL
I come to your side
I come to help you
I come to see you through

BECAUSE I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
