Here Comes the Pitch

Silence -- bases loaded,
Base-runners paused, mid-pose'
Caps set, brows of sweat.
  Almost ready now. Here comes:
Pitch, Swing, Home Run, Cheer -- We Won!

Isn't that true, now? The only silence during a baseball game is when bases are loaded. Thanks for the reminder in the form of a sweet poem.

Very observant, Caren! TBT, (Truth be told), never realized that it's the only silence in a game, but you're right!! Thanks for the illumination. ~Mr. 'Bit Brighter Now,' :) gw
