Her Return

Time passes along,
Seen by his heart so heavy,
Angst at her return

First ever try at a Senryu.

Technically I think this is a Senryu, Haiku's are about nature. Nonetheless, it packs a punch.

Okay my friend; type in... example of traditional haiku, or example of contemporary haiku and then you're off...

glad to see one of the troopers on the soup. sorry i haven't shared the respect i should have before. sometimes Afganistan doesn't ring out as loud as it does other days. you got the sylables right. but to be an expert it's more than sylables. it's the burst of thought in the readers mind.
