Her Noise

It was all fun and games
A little laughing
A little tag
She was frolicking
Away from her tagger

She tripped on a rock
The boy approached her
Lifted up her skirt
And groped her

Splash is the sound of tears
Maybe if she wasn't wearing a skirt
He couldn't pull it up
Maybe if she was paying attention
He wouldn't have groped her

Maybe if she hadn't worn a skirt
She wouldn't be in tears
Up at 2 AM thinking about
How this was her fault

It wasn't in her control
It never was
She was only the Victim
Splash is the sound of tears
One of thousands of victims
