Her Name Was -

Notes were passed on paper long returned to dust. Her smile and eyes faint flickers of a dying candle. Longer hair now wavers between dark blond and brown in the ethers of my mind.

                                           first grade crush
                                      hazy as smoke at dusk…
                                              lost horizon
