Her Name Is Zee

Z, so zealously misunderstood,
Zeus gives her zest, as only Zeus could.
Zigzagging and zipping in response
To Zoology’s play,
We have to use Z more often,
or she will zigzag away.

Z barely takes up six pages of most dictionaries.
She is zany, and zealous, and amazingly daring.
She adds so much to pizzazz, and wizard, and whiz.
She is more than she will ever be, and less than she is.

Z brings us Zimbabwe, Zaire and Zander too.
Without her where would zing, zest, and zap truly be?
You can have the M’s, the N’s, and the piggish P’s.
Just leave me one letter.
Her name is Zee.

I liked this myself. Entered it into a contest on another site, and was shocked to not receive any recognition at all. Shocked!
