Her Hand In Mine

In my hand another,
so soft and tender,
could be that of a
child, warm and
gentle, caring. No
this is the hand of
a woman, a woman
of love and giving,
unselfish with her
heart. A woman
who stands my side
with honest eyes, as
honest as the skies
above. And looks to
me in words of love,
not always said but
transmitted by kiss,
touch or gaze. This
hand within mine,
pray granted for all
time, is the all
conquering passion
of where my heart
desires to be. The
moon, the sun nor
breaking waves shall
keep these hands
apart, for destiny
came by star and
stardust filled my heart.

Wonderful sentiments.. u should enter this one in the I Love U Because contest.. except u cannot use the word love in the poem and u can substitute your word Love with another word just for the contest ... it would be a worthy entry... luv.. Linda-Marie
