Her Gorgeous Eyes

she hates her eyes cause they're not light and bright like others cornflower blue yet to disdain such pure beauty you would be a fool i don't understand how she can feel that way towards these eyes that demand all my attention if she'd listen i'd sing praises of their dark hues but she hates her eyes i could never do them justice so maybe it's better this way how could i find such words when i'm overwhelmed as our gazes meet wondering how their earthen hues can hold such warmth i adore her gorgeous eyes that i'm not worthy to see look back at me with such fondness I adore her gorgeous eyes that i've seen drowned in tears overflowing with sorrow i adore her gorgeous eyes that i've seen darkened in anger and sparking with intensity I adore her gorgeous eyes that i've seen soft and hazed from lingering dreams i get lost in her eyes the ones i've made my home treasuring every second they look my way this is why it breaks my heart when she says she hates her eyes cause others may have eyes the color of the sky but her brown eyes are the reason im not alone
