Her Eyes Were Like Fireflies

Her eyes were like fireflies, That seared a hole thru my heart whenever she left, Her hugs enveolped me in warmth lit from her soul, The hair streched out from her scalp and crawled across the bed, Her fragrance stained the air when she walked passed, Her laughter tickled your ears as they pry in to what was funny, Her lips dressed in red as the stick painted the color of desire, The words spilling from her mouth taunted you to taste, The thoughts she provokes in your mind tickles your inner psyches pallet, Her flesh glazed over in the skin of the earth, Same color, Same taste, Strong as the trunks in which our mother exhales life, To deep to be seen or ever be fully explored, Holding too tight will smother her flames, But Watching Her dreams soar across the sky are quenching, when tears flow from her they wash away thoughts of all existence, Her rage engulf the farthest reaches of your sanity and claw away at your walls of safety, Her eyes were like fireflies, shapeless and free flowing as a breeze, Her presence is as incense, Lingering long after faded........peace 09/29/18
