Her Elegant Soul

It was just a case of long nourished infatuation,
Until, I got to explore her concealed elegant soul,
Grit and resiliency with which she has won her battles,
Caring and empathetic heart that made her unique,
A woman of her calibre can change agony into joy,
For it is easier to soothe with her tender gestures

While her enchanting eyes were entangling me,
It is her vision for life, that won my heart,
While her sparkling smile was captivating me,
It is her pain behind the smile, that haunted my mind,
While her manifest charm was intoxicating me,
It is her hidden soul that conquered my world,

I don't care, if someday she loses all her beauty,
Time may wrinkle her skin but never deteriorate love,
As our souls are superimposed, not just tied by lust
I don't care, if that last hair on her head turns white,
Ageing may ruin her body, but not the elegant soul,
As souls remain bonded, we never cease to romance.
