Her Blue Moon Face

from beneath time’s sand I uncover buried memory lane taking
me to deserted room in twilight dissolving known faces but for
one with pleading eyes of flowing tears looking at me the way
they did when I left her forever

in bleak wilderness
night lays stardust on my eyes…
her face turns blue moon
