Her and My Senses
I heard our song the other day,
and it made me reminisce.
About your body in a negligee,
and the special way we used to kiss!
I was walking through a department store,
and caught a whiff of a certain perfume.
The memory of the smell was hard to ignore,
and I thought of all the freaky things we used to do in the bedroom!
Amazing how certain sounds and smells,
Can still stir intense emotions inside me.
Even the taste of caramel puts me back under her spell,
Which is like universal poetry!
The memories of her in my heart,
can still awaken my senses;
And since she's my eternal counterpart,
She'll always be able to weaken my defenses!
