Her
(Anacreontic Verse)
Carved fierce from
sensuous stone
by an unerring
hand to stand
tall and naked
with me in the
morning sunlight.
Catching every
curve, reflect more
than the parts
capture something
of the rapturous
whole, those beams
know not what
beauty they carry
as her skin -
a suple mirror -
shows light itself
how sunrise
ought to look.
Bright sky blue eyes
pour into the room,
tiny prisms
filter out
heavens colors
to give me
but a glimpse.
