Helping Mouth

We get a helping mouth.
Words that just come out,
Without any thought at all.
They come bouncing out,
Like a basketball.
When you want them to shut up,
You ask is that all?
They say no,
And it goes like this:
I got more to say.
You need to do this.
You need to do that.
You should have done that.
You should have kept that other job.
You shouldn’t go there to shop.
You shouldn’t have bought that new car.
You need a house.
You don’t need him or her as a spouse.
You want them to shut up,
But you need their aid.
As a result, you become their verbal slave.
All that you want from them is a helping hand,
Instead all you get is a big, fat, sloppy, helping mouth.
