HELP WANTED

I've been pondering
my future
As we're sometimes
apt to do,
Trying to reach
conclusions
On the paths I might
pursue!

I've wandered
ancient castles
filled
With France's
storied past,
And stood atop the
Tour Eiffel..
..The view was
unsurpassed!

I've climbed the
famous leaning
tower,
..A trifle ill at
ease!
And strolled Italian
boulevards
Lined with spaghetti
trees.

In retrospect, I
can't complain,
Life has been good
to me,
'Cause what you see
is what you get..
There are no
guarantees!

Canada is beautiful
But winters were a
grind..
And in the end, I
found a home
Where elements are
kind.

Where Frangipani
perfume fills
The tranquil tropic
night
And views on golden
beaches
Fill the viewer with
delight!

Exotic birds flock
to my door
In nature's bold
array,
And all my cuddly
furry friends
Surround me every
day.

I've got it all, it
seems to me
Here in my country
nook..
And life might reach
fulfillment...
...If I only had a
cook!

No union members
need apply..
The boss is
reputable..
Fringe benefits are
marginal,
But the pay's
abominable!

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
