Help Me Lord To Be More Like You
Help Me Jesus to Be More Like YOU!
How can I be what God wants me to be…
If I’m living in sin, and have no victory?
How can I live like God wants me to live…
If I hold on to bitterness, and don’t forgive?
How can I live as a Christian should do…
If my life, through Christ, is not renewed?
How can I keep going and pretending?
If my heart needs a spiritual amending?
How can I do it? Without Christ… I’m lost!
Help me Lord to focus on the cross!
To live is Christ... To die is to gain!
There’s an overcoming life I need to obtain!
I must serve Jesus and surrender my will!
A life of godliness must be fulfilled!
I must give him one hundred percent!
And come before him, and humbly repent!
Please take my life Jesus! And all that’s in it.
My heart and soul... I freely give it!
Jesus, I ask you to have your way in me.
I want to know you so abundantly!
Your words of truth have expressed…
Living for you, is always the BEST!
