Help Me Lord
Lord, I'm in need of Your help because
I'm suffering from making too many flaws.
You, O Lord, understand what I'm feeling:
I call unto You for Your strength and healing.
No matter my efforts, I always fall short:
I've failed and You're my only resort.
At times, I feel like there's nothing left
After I fought to my very last breath.
The problems I faced are greater than I;
My heart is troubled and these tears I cry.
I don't know how much more I can take;
I'm tied to a chain that I cannot break.
I'm out of options and not sure what to do,
But I look to the hills where my help comes from You.
I can't make the same mistakes anymore;
Help me become better than I was before.
I ask that You fix my broken heart
So I can make a brand new start.
Guide me and make me whole again:
I pray this in Your holy name, amen.
