Help Me..

I haven't eaten in days,
I sit with a pen, nothing comes..so i quit,
When i see the light my eyes are closed to block the sun rays.
I'm putting away the weapon i so long ago had to equip.

Chest compressions cant bring my heart back to life,
Not even with electrical currents running through my chest,
Even in sleep i worry, dreams leave me puzzled in the night.
As the sun seems to go down visa-versa does my stress.

This is a call to all who are real,
Because my lungs have stopped working and i exhaled 3 years ago,
This is a call to all those who still.. feel.
Because I lack all the emotions you often show.

Help me..

It saddens me to see how upset you are, Monte. But if it weren't for those feelings this great piece wouldn't exist! I've been in your shoes, time changes everything my friend. Keep the sincere poetry coming... Love, Maya
