Help From Above

I want to write, but nothing comes to mind.
So I'll just start to scribble and see what I can find.
For journeys start with a single step, and now I'm on my way.
To where I go, I never know, it's just another day.

I believe there are spirits that led me on.
They lay me down at night and raise me at dawn.
Trusting them is never easy, few of us ever do.
But they're there right from the very start.
And they'll be there when we're through.

So let their kindness calm your fears.
And just knowing that they are there dry your tears.
For inner peace can overcome what time so cruelly brings.
And if you sit there quietly, you can hear them gently sing.

Theres peace there in the valley and joy all through the air.
And strength to help you rally and keep you from despair.

So true, Robert. My mom has special spirits that have guided her. She even saw some of them! I'm glad I found this one to read. I had to search a while to come across one I had not seen. LUv, Andrea

Whatever comes to your mind is special. Always, the story is there to keep the mind fascinated and the rhyme so great. I hope you will have a book of poems published - if so, I would be your first customer. And, your rhymes to me are so dear, thank you Robert, what would I do without you.
