Hello Winter

Down by the river
We’re waiting for snow.
Grey skies above us
Reflect in its glow.

Winter approaching
Has spread out its frost.
Raindrops are crystals
That nature has tossed

Over the landscape
To glitter and gleam.
This day is perfect
To sit back and dream.
