Hello My Love

The rocky bridge spanned over the widest part of the river
Allowing the torrid waters to eagerly flow along with a true force
While afternoon sun smiled through the overhead covering branches
I had made my way upon the bridge to meet her and take her in my arms

There she was, as promised, she’d be waiting, wearing that blouse
I had given her for the pleasure of giving her, the color was perfect for her
She smiled upon me and suddenly the sunlight was lost, as her light shone stronger
I got close enough to smell the perfume that incites desires, reaching her, we kissed hello

Dear Michael: I just posted Lovingly, and just wrote it on the bus to the Mall library. Funny, how we're on-line at teh same time. Good karma. Romantic poem, I really like it. Thanks for reading my poems. Glad you liked them. Much Love, Janice Herzog xoxo

Wonderfully romantic write. I always find bridges so appealing and inspiring. Best, Nigel
